The University of Allahabad is a reputed University in the country which offers diverse courses in the field of Science and Technology. In order to recruit the talented candidates, the University organizes entrance examinations every year. Likewise they conduct M.Sc Physics Entrance Examination for admitting the qualified students to the Master’s degree course in Physics. The course of Master of Science in Physics is a two year program that focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject area of Physics.
Structure of University of Allahabad PGAT M.Sc in Physics Entrance Exam
The Allahabad University conducts entrance examinations annually for the selection of the eligible candidates to the master’s course in Physics. The University conducts a written test for the same. The question paper for this examination contains short answer type as well as medium answer type questions which have to be answered in 50 and 150 words respectively. Students have to finish the examination within the time duration of 90 minutes. There will be a total of 150 questions from all the three sections.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates those who possess a graduate degree in the relevant subject area with an aggregate of not less than 45% can apply for the entrance examination. The candidates should have completed the degree as a regular course. Students those who belong to the backward category are provided a relaxation of 5% marks in case of the educational qualifications.
How to Apply?
The applications for the M.Sc Physics entrance examination can be procured from the Accounts office of the University of Allahabad by paying an amount of Rs 600/-as the application fees. The duly filled applications must be submitted in person and the applications that are sent through post will be rejected. The forms should reach the department of education before the prescribed date.
How to fill the application form?
The candidates have to follow the prescribed guide lines while filling the application forms. The application forms must be filled using the script of the applicant. The completed application forms have to be submitted in person at the department of education in Allahabad University after attaching all the necessary enclosures.
