Preliminary exams of the Civil Services for recruitment for services & posts given below will ging to be organized by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) on May 20, 2012 in accordance with the Rules published by department of Personnel & Training in the Gazette of India Extraordinary on February 4, 2012. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced civil services 2012 report preliminary data (CSAT 2012) with 1037 posts in various categories of Indian Civils for examine. 1037 numbers of vacancies are going to be filled on the besics of the results of examination. But this numbers of vacancies may going to be change. Reservations will going to be made for the examiners who are belonging to SC, ST and OBC in respect of vacancies as may be fixed by the Government.

      Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad has published a note explaining about hall ticket or nominal roll related information for the candidates of Inter 1st year and 2nd year, who are appearing for annual examinations for March 2012.

      The Environmental Education Examination for Intermediate first year students (Regular and private streams) and also for students who did not qualify in environmental education from 2006-07 onwards will be conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM on January 31, 2012.

      The Andhra Pradesh State Intermediate 1st year students can check by selecting concern district and college. Second Inter students can get their details by entering previous year hall ticket number in respective columns.

      The Indian Institutes of Technology (popularly known as IITs) are institutions of national importance established through an Act of Parliament for fostering excellence in education. There are fifteen IITs at present  The faculty and alumni of IITs continue making huge impact in all sectors of society, both in India and abroad. Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU), Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad, are amongst the oldest institutions in India and are known for their immense contributions towards society at large and for science and technology in particular.

      The admit cards will be sent by Speed Post to the address mentioned in the Application Form only to all those eligible candidates who have submitted valid Application Forms

      Indian Institute of Technology IIT announced detail IIT JEE Admit Card 2012. IIT dispatched admit card of joint entrance exam through speedy postal service. Last date is 15th March, 2012.

      The Application Form only to all those eligible candidates who have submitted valid Application Forms, complete in all respects and received at IITs within the stipulated period and are found to be eligible as per criteria. JEE office will not be responsible for any postal delay or irregularity resulting in non-delivery of the Admit Card.  No duplicate admit card will be issued.

If the Admit Card is not received by March 15, 2012 ::

You can obtain your registration number and examination centre from the institute of your zone through phone (IVRS – Interactive Voice Response System) / Website. After obtaining the data, write your name, registration number and the examination centre on two identical halves of an A4-size paper. Affix your photographs (same version of photograph which you have pasted in your Application Form) one on each half and sign on the bottom of the photographs. Then get this attested by the Head of your School / Institution last attended / gazetted officer / notary public. Meet the IIT Representative with this paper on the day of examination (April 8, 2012) one hour before the commencement of the examination at the office of the Presiding Officer of the examination centre. The IIT Representative will retain one half and give the other half back to you. You will be allowed to write the examination provisionally.


Identity Verification ::

At the examination hall, the admit card should be presented to the invigilators for verification.  The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the admit card and the centre verification record. If the identity is in doubt, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination. The authorities may at their discretion permit the candidate to appear for the examination after completing formalities including taking of thumb impression. No extra time will be allowed for these formalities to be completed. Any impersonation will lead to disqualification in JEE.


Safe-Keep of the Admit Card ::

Since the qualified candidates are required to produce the admit card at the time of counselling and admission, it should be carefully preserved till the admission through IIT-JEE 2012 is completed.

    Lisa made her Bollywood debut with 'Kasoor' movie in year of 2001, and later received rave reviews for her performance in movie 'Water' directed by Deepa Mehta.

India Loses First T20 Cricket Match Against Australia, India Loses First Of Two Twenty20 To Australia ::

India on Wednesday lost the first of two Twenty20 internationals to Australia by 31 runs.

Chasing Australia's total of 171 for the loss of four wickets, India managed to score 140 for the loss of six wickets.

Earlier, India won the toss and put Australia into bat at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

Australia scored their 171 runs at a run rate of 8.55 runs per over. Wicketkeeper batsman Mathew Wade top scored with 72 of 43 deliveries. He hit five boundaries and three sixes in his knock.

The second highest score was that D J Hussey. He scored 42 of 30 deliveries with one boundary and three sixes.


For India, spinners R.Ashwin, Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma claimed a wicket each. All Indian bowlers were milked for six and above runs per over.

When India came in to bat, Sehwag promised much with a boundary, but failed to deliver again, scoring six runs.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni top scored with an unbeaten 48 that contained one boundary and three sixes.

The others to put up a somewhat decent score were opener Gautam Gambhir (20) and middle order batsman Virat Kohli (22). India made its runs at seven runs per over.


For Australia, Dan Christian claimed two wickets for 35, while Hussey took two wickets for four runs. Spinners Xavier Doherty and Brad Hogg helped them by bowling tight lines.

From Australia, George Bailey, Xavier Doherty and J P Faulkner made their Twenty20 debuts, while Rohit Sharma made his debut for India.

Matt Wade was declared the player of the match.

Bajaj Auto has just unveiled a new model of its popular sports bike series Pulsar, named 'Pulsar 200NS'.

"The Pulsar 200NS is best middle-class sports bike. It will be commercially launched beginning next fiscal through 600 dealers across the country. The price is expected to be below Rs 1 lakh," Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj told reporters here.

The model will have cutting-edge engine which sets new benchmarks in performance, emission and incidentally, also fuel efficiency, Bajaj Auto Chief Technology Officer Abraham Joseph said.

He said the new motorbike takes DTS-i (Digital Twin Spark-ignition) technology, introduced in 2003, to another level with a SOHC 4-valve triple spark engine controlled by an advanced electronic control unit for better performance.

The bike has liquid cooling and a six speed gear box. The Pulsar will be manufactured at the company's plant at Chakan near Pune, which has a capacity of producing 1,00,000 units per month, Joseph said.

K Srinivas, President-Motorcycles, Bajaj Auto, said "Pulsar has now celebrated a 'decade of dominance' with 10 years of leadership in the Indian performance motorcycle market. These sporty iconic motorcycles have been a testimony to the company's engineering prowess. The Pulsar 200NS showcases next leap in technology and design and will set the standard for others to follow."

"We believe 2012-13 will be an exciting period where Bajaj Auto will excite customers both here and abroad."

About future plans, Bajaj said the company plans to launch more models in 2012 and hopes to increase market share to 32 per cent from the present 26 per cent in Indian motorcycle market over the next few years.
